Rumors of a come back for one of Korea’s most beloved actresses, Yoon Eun Hye, have been circling around for the past several months. Apparently, this time the rumor mill wasn’t that far off. The actress if reportedly preparing for a comeback in Korea in 2017.
A rep from Yoon’s agency JARMY Entertainemtn stated “Yoon Eun Hye is preparing for a Korean comeback. A Korean comeback for the latter part of this year is unconfirmed but we are thinking of a comeback in early 2017. We are opening the possibility of dramas, movies, and a variety of areas.”
Yoon has virtually dropped off the radar since her plagiarism scandal in September of last year. Although, the scandal has settled and the actress has since apologized for any misunderstandings or confusion relating to the matter, there has been no word of any new projects until this press release from her agency.
The rep for JARMY added “We have not had discussions nor do we have specific plans regarding her comeback appearances in broadcast programs other than dramas and movies. However, we are planning for a comeback early next year. Although a Korean comeback this year might be difficult, it looks like Chinese activities will continue.”
It is difficult to pin point the exact time or reason as to why her career is where it is today. She has virtually gone from being one of the hottest and most desirable actress’s in the industry, with hit after hit, to not filming anything since “Marry Him If You Dare” in 2013. Let’s just hope for a strong comeback and also for Yoon and her agency make better decisions in the future in regards to her her career.
